Sanford Canby

With co-chairpersons, Dee Dee Behnke and Tracy Wente leading, 13 Sanford Canby MASH members organized to participate in the YMC Relay for Life on Friday, June 11th, the annual cancer research fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Sanford Canby MASH, along with the generous support of Canby community members, raised $10,070.73 for the American Cancer Society.

Thanks to the community for participating and supporting the numerous fundraisers: luminaries, cookie, walk, burger meal, Antiquities photos, Little Caesar’s Pizza, root beer floats, Kerri DeVos purses, purple toilet flushing-out cancer, VFW steak nights, concession stand sales, A New Leaf, on-line donations, Coins for a Cure water bottles—and to Sanford Canby Medical Center for corporate sponsorship.

Grand total:  $10,670.00 raised for cancer research.
